SANDRA B. RODRIGUEZ
Sandra B. Rodriguez is a Mexican-American architect with a passion for stories and the truths they can reveal. Growing up in a small pueblo in Jalisco, she attributes her love of film to childhood gatherings around the television with her family- a feeling she hopes her work can give to future generations.
Sandra holds a B.F.A in Architecture and an M.F.A in Production Design from the American Film Institute with a professional background in drafting, illustration, and model making. With collaborations of over 20 short films, she has gained a wide set of skills spanning from Production Design, Set Design, and Art Direction.
Her work experience covers the role of Production Designer with renowned film programs like Sundance, Mcdonald's Spotlight Dorado, Walmart x Mitu, and Film Independent to award-winning ends. Along with recent experience in the Art Departments for Mrs. Davis (Warner Brothers) , The Terminal List: Dark Wolf (Amazon MGM) and Grotesquerie (FX). She is an alumnus of the ADG 800 Production Design Initiative (PDI), UCLA Design Showcase West, and Telluride Film Labs.
Currently, she is preparing to work on her first feature film and hopes to push forward her design craft with great creativity, discipline, and above all, undying curiosity.
